MBF Newsletter - Auria Rides Time
In this Newsletter we talk about our latest award-winning InfinEights film, plus open up for a film review competition for £500 cash prize giveaway!!
Hello Micro Budget Filmies…!
Despite being made for just over £500, the first film of The InfinEights series, Bright Like the Sun, was a huge success at the international film festivals. Pretty incredible, eh?
For our second film, Auria Rides Time, we had to add an extra zero to the end, but you tell us what you think considering it was a fully scripted, crewed and professionally post produced project - still considered micro-budget!
WHO ARE THE INFINEIGHTS?
If you are new the The InfinEights, the series tells the tale of an individual superhero child that lives in ‘human stealth mode’ gradually awakening to their powers.
In the second of the InfinEights, Auria struggles deeply with fitting in with her peers. Despite this, she remains incredibly caring to her baby sister, taking her into the vast forestlands near her home to teach her the ways of nature, as her mother is no longer alive and her aunt has problems of her own.
Then, one day, something magical happens and Auria realises her greater mission and discovers she is in fact a superhero from a different timeline sent down on Earth to help it during these dark times.
Auria Teaches Robyn How To Listen To Trees.
We would love to hear what you think about this film, so we are offering a £500 cash prize for the person with the best write up! To apply all you need to do is watch the film and write us a 250 word FILM REVIEW that captures the essence of this beautiful sci-fi narrative short.
Submissions for write ups to be made here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSebxZpQWoTG_8E9BY_32F6F-qHvVZC9Y9Re0a85kYJTwl_ifA/viewform?usp=sf_link
